Profacture Receives Order for a Refurbished
Tegal®
901e System from Advanced Wireless Semiconductor
Beaverton, OR, September 16, 2005 -- Profacture Corporation,
today announced that they received an order for a Refurbished Tegal® 901e from Advanced
Wireless Semiconductor.
This order marks the first time Profacture and AWSC have
worked together. This system will add capacity and augment their existing 9XX systems.
Delivery of the system is scheduled for the Fourth quarter of 2005 as well as
system startup and performance testing.

AWSC offers the high reliable InGaP/GaAs HBT process for both power
amplifier (PA) and gain block (GB) circuit designs. We also offer the high
performance GaAs pHEMT process for both switch (SW) and low noise amplifier
(LNA) circuit designs. Our transistors have been proven with a MTBF of more
than one million hours. We ensure the good process control monitor (PCM) and
high wafer probe yield to satisfy our customer's performance and yield
requirements.
Currently, Our Fabrication facility has overall capacity of 2,100 4-inch
wafers and 400 6-inch wafers outs a week. We are gradually converting the
Fab from 4-inch to 6-inch with a total capacity of 3,000 6" wafer outs a
week by Q3 2011.
AWSC was established in April of 1998 and located at Tainan Science-Based
Industrial Park of Taiwan. Now we have total employees of 480 with various
technical and production backgrounds. Our foundry service group provides
Design kits with both device layout rules and design models.
