Beaverton, OR, April 28, 2003 -- Profacture Corporation,
today announced that they received an order to refurbish and convert a Tegal®
900e to a 903e from a leading power semiconductor manufacturer in North
America. A wafer size conversion will also take place during the system
conversion process. The system is currently configured as a Tegal® 900e,
set-up to process 3" wafers.
"This order signifies Profacture's extensive capabilities
with regard to Tegal® 9XX systems."
With the amount of Tegal® 9XX series etchers being auctioned off these days,
more companies are utilizing the capabilities of Profacture for wafer size
conversions, system conversions and upgrades of systems they purchased at
auction. In many cases the systems are not exactly what the end-user
actually required. It may be the wrong wafer size or it still utilizes the internal RFPP generator. Whatever the case Profacture has the solution and expertise
to integrate the system into the customers production line.
